Aphasia: When Language Breaks Down
Programme delivered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
Objectives
To introduce students to basic concepts of language disorders, neurological disorders, and approaches to diagnose and treat language problems in these patients.
Learning Outcomes
Students will understand how and why language can be damaged, characteristics of language disorders in adults with brain injury, and methods to diagnose and improve language disorders.
