BUILDING YOUR SMART CHATBOT ASSISTANT:
BEGINNER'S AI WORKSHOP

Programme delivered by the Faculty of Science - Department of Computer Science

Objectives
 

This programme is designed to assist students in developing a chatbot that can automatically recommend restaurants to customers and answer questions. Through the development process, students will enhance their knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), which is a branch of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that enables machines to understand human language.

Learning Outcomes
 

By joining our programme, students can:

  • explore how Chatbots are changing the way people interact with technology.
  • understand the technologies behind Chatbots such as Natural Language Processing and AI.
  • gain hands-on experience in building a smart chatbot assistant.

  • For overseas High School Year-11 students or above.
  • 2 sessions of Zoom lectures will be conducted in English.
  • Participants are required to have a Google account.
  • Meet participants from around the world.
